The Construction Tech CTE students put their hard hats on and went to work at the Rhode Island Home Show this past month. The crew was lucky enough to have the opportunity to put up the entrance pillars that hundreds of attendees passed through. They showed off skills that many professional builders would be proud of, they created two pillars and a cross beam over head. Within the pillars they inserted windows with master craftmanship.
Many high schools participated in the Rhode Island Home Show and showed off their work in a display within the home show itself only one school was chosen to build the entrance and that job was entrusted to South Kingstown High School. Teacher Adam Shaw trained the students well.
They did an incredible job and we're extremely proud of the work they have done. They worked hard, they worked safely and they worked together as a team. They are a true example that SKdoesCTE and that they do it better than anyone else.
