Requests for bids and proposals are advertised in The Providence Journal Legal Advertisements.

The South Kingstown School Department has partnered with BidNet Direct's RI Purchasing Group platform where all bid opportunities for South Kingstown School District are posted. As a vendor you can register with the RI Purchasing Group to ensure that you see all available bids and opportunities. The site handles bid opportunities, RFPs and RFQs for other member governmental agencies throughout the state of RI. In addition, bids can be submitted electronically on the RI Purchasing Group bidding platform.
Contractors must be registered on BidNet and must log-in to access Contract Documents, Questions & Answers, access Addenda and submit online bid responses.

Disclaimer: All addendums are posted to the Online Vendor Registration and Notification System. Registered vendors will be notified via Email of any addendums.  It is the vendor's responsibility to verify if any addendum has been issued for their bid. The South Kingstown School District will not be held responsible for incomplete bid submissions.

Bids will be awarded to the lowest evaluated responsive bidder. Bidder must show evidence that their equipment and/or services meet or exceeds the specifications. The School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof. Individuals requesting interpreter services for the hearing impaired must call 401-360-1306 (TDD) at least 72 hours in advance of the bid opening date.
